My school-run minibus: Modou's only way to earn a living
Without my school-run minibus Modou can't work; a $1,350 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 4 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $100
• Towing and inspection: $130
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,120
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Modou.
It's all in the list in the story. road tax and insurance renewal is the big one at $100, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
take care, Modou. Hope the shop reopens soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Hope the shop reopens soon. Love from Noida.
