My ride-share car: Umesh's only way to earn a living
Umesh's my ride-share car is Umesh's only source of income and needs a transmission replacement costing $200.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $200 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $125
• Labor charges: $35
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $20
• Towing and inspection: $20
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending strength, Umesh. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
So sorry you're going through this, Umesh. Hope the shop reopens soon.
Hang in there, Umesh. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
