My ride-share car: Ketki's only way to earn a living
Without my ride-share car Ketki can't work; a $105 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $105. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $105 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Labor charges: $70
• Towing and inspection: $5
Thanks for reading all this.

stay strong. Hope the shop reopens soon. Love from New Delhi.
any update on how things are going in Jodhpur?
take care, Ketki. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Makati.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. Love from Nakuru
Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Ottawa so I could bring a meal
