My ride-share car: Kai's only way to earn a living
Without my ride-share car Kai can't work; a $1,800 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Labor charges: $290
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $1,350
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $160
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you the best, Kai. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
Sending love. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this, Kai. Small businesses are the heart of Riverside. Hope you're open again soon.
Wishing you peace, Kai. Hope the shop reopens soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
Thinking of you and your family. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking!
