My ride-share car: Hoa's only way to earn a living
Hoa drives for a living in Scranton, and a broken suspension has stopped all income for 3 weeks.
🇺🇸 Pennsylvania, United States154 views
I make my living with my ride-share car. 3 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $640
• Labor charges: $290
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $310
• Towing and inspection: $160
Thanks for reading all this.
