My motorbike: Varun's only way to earn a living
Without my motorbike Varun can't work; a $850 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $850. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $850 goes:
• Labor charges: $270
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $490
• Towing and inspection: $90
Glad we found this place.
Updates from Varun
Thank you all. We're at 75% now ($640). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward labor charges.

Sending good thoughts, Varun. I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Feira de Santana this morning. God bless.
