My motorbike: Tammy's only way to earn a living
Without my motorbike Tammy cannot work; a $1,800 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 4 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $1,300
• Labor charges: $165
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $260
• Towing and inspection: $75
Thank you so much.
