My motorbike: Lourdes's only way to earn a living
Lourdes's my motorbike is Lourdes's only source of income and needs a gearbox replacement costing $300.

I make my living with my motorbike. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $200
• Labor charges: $30
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
• Towing and inspection: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.

You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Wishing you peace. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Wish I lived closer to Nice so I could bring a meal. All the best
Hope it all works out. Your post was clear and honest. After 20 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
