My motorbike: Javier's only way to earn a living
Without my motorbike Javier can't work; a $200 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 4 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $200 goes:
• Labor charges: $80
• Towing and inspection: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $70
Thank you for reading my story.

Hope it all works out, Javier. Small businesses are the heart of León. Hope you're open again soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Bhopal.
