My motorbike: Clara's only way to earn a living
Clara drives for a living in Nuremberg, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

I make my living with my motorbike. 10 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $950 goes:
• Labor charges: $310
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $450
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $190
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending good thoughts, Clara. Small businesses are the heart of Nuremberg. Hope you're open again soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless
Wishing you peace, Clara. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
