My motorbike: Brian's only way to earn a living
Brian drives for a living in Kampala, and a broken radiator and cooling system has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my motorbike. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $215. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $215 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $140
• Labor charges: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $20
• Towing and inspection: $5
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Good luck. Hope the shop reopens soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Praying for you, Brian. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

Good luck, Brian. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Toronto this morning. God bless
