My motorbike: Ankit's only way to earn a living

Without my motorbike Ankit can't work; a $100 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 3 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $100 goes: • Towing and inspection: $30 • Labor charges: $35 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $35 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

    Made me feel heard

Perfect example of someone making a real difference. They took time out of their busy schedule to help me and never made me feel like a burden.

  • Sending love, Ankit. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Los Angeles
