My food truck: Rakib's only way to earn a living
Without my food truck Rakib can't work; a $215 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 12 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $215. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $215 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $155
• Labor charges: $30
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $5
With deep gratitude,
Rakib

Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Savar.
