My food truck: Raimundo's only way to earn a living
Without my food truck Raimundo can't work; a $350 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 5 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $350 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $100
• Labor charges: $90
• transmission replacement (parts): $160
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

thinking of you and your family, Raimundo. Hope this works out for you. All the best.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Raimundo?
Thank you. If you're in Campinas I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Ask me anything else.
Stay strong. Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Yekaterinburg but we're thinking of you
Hang in there, Raimundo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Thinking of you and your family, Raimundo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from La Plata.
