I make my living with my food truck. 6 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,200 goes: • engine head gasket replacement (parts): $680 • Labor charges: $135 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $280 • Towing and inspection: $105 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Dennis

thinking of you and your family, Dennis. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
