My delivery van: Yewande's only way to earn a living
Without my delivery van Yewande can't work; a $50 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my delivery van. 8 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $50. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $50 goes:
• Labor charges: $35
• Towing and inspection: $10
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $5
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you the best, Yewande. Hope the shop reopens soon. Sent it to 4 people at work. Thinking of Lagos
sending love, Yewande. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Port Harcourt
