My delivery van: Juliet's only way to earn a living
Without my delivery van Juliet can't work; a $250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my delivery van. 7 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Labor charges: $40
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $190
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Small businesses are the heart of Ikeja. Hope you're open again soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
Rooting for you, Juliet. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Best of luck, Juliet. Small businesses are the heart of Ikeja. Hope you're open again soon!
