My delivery van: Gregory's only way to earn a living
Without my delivery van Gregory can't work; a $1,900 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my delivery van. 3 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,900. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $1,450
• Labor charges: $135
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $160
• Towing and inspection: $155
Every share and every dollar helps.

We're at 16% thanks to 9 of you. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($190 in total) I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
