Mukasa's colon cancer treatment fund
Mukasa is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Mukasa was diagnosed with colon cancer in April. The oncology team at Dodoma Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Mukasa is 30, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dodoma Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100
• Scans and lab work: $135
• Transport to Dodoma Regional Medical Center: $95
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
• Household costs while unable to work: $185
