Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Monika in Kraków
Help Monika get a stair-climbing aid so She can speak with the people around her.
🇵🇱 Kraków, Lesser Poland, Poland1,536 views
I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at the Kraków Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,400.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $1,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $80
• Delivery and set-up: $85
• First-year servicing plan: $85
Thank you for reading my story.
