I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at Gliwice General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Karolina.
Prosthetic leg is $980 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Appreciate you taking the time.
