Tatiane lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Ribeirão Preto General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,400. Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Tatiane could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
