Mobility fund: pair of hearing aids for Janet in Mwanza
Janet needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at Mwanza General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• First-year servicing plan: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $35

wishing you the best, Janet. Looking forward to the next update
You're not alone, Janet. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
Shared this with my family. Love from Kisumu
take care, Janet. I hope things turn around soon.
Wishing you the best. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Mwanza
