Mercy needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Kasarani

Without my tuk-tuk Mercy can't work; a $100 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 3 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $100 goes: • Labor charges: $40 • Towing and inspection: $30 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $30 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
