Meenakshi's final semester of a computer science degree in Jodhpur
Meenakshi is one semester away from finishing a computer science degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,050.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a computer science degree at Jodhpur Community College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,050.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Jodhpur Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $420
• Final term tuition: $550
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
