Marisol's final semester of an agriculture degree in Zapopan
Marisol is one semester away from finishing an agriculture degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $2,100.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Zapopan Community College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,100.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Zapopan Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $960
• Final term tuition: $1,050
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $55

Hope it all works out, Marisol. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We're a small family in Haarlem but we're thinking of you
You're not alone, Marisol. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
