Los Angeles winter storm relief - the families of Eastgate Lane
Neighbors in the families of Eastgate Lane are rebuilding after the winter storm; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The winter storm hit the families of Eastgate Lane on 3 September. My home was one of 48 damaged, and 11 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $9,000 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $4,000
• Clean water and purification supplies: $880
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $970
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,800
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,350
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there, Paisley. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Surabaya donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
Wishing you the best, Paisley. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Los Angeles.
Sending strength, Paisley. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Sacramento
