Linda's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

Linda earned a place in Year 10 at the Kumasi Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have. Linda loves biology and wants to become a doctor. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $150 goes: • Laptop: $65 • School uniform and shoes: $30 • Textbooks and workbooks: $30 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25 If you're reading this, thank you. - Theresa
