I make my living with my food truck. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $840
• Labor charges: $350
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $300
• Towing and inspection: $110
Thank you for reading my story.

hope things get better soon. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Mumbai.
