Let's build a youth football pitch together in Pokhara
A community-led a youth football pitch at Lotus Park that will serve 303 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 303 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $420
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
