Let's build a free library and reading room together in Tampa
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $3,250 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,250.
It will serve about 107 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

What exactly is the $3,250 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. safety equipment and signage comes first ($260) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Happy to explain more.
