Let's build a covered market stall space together in Fukuoka
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $1,650 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $360, and the remaining cost is $1,650.
It will serve about 328 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Materials: $760
• Permits and inspections: $260
• Safety equipment and signage: $280
• Tools hire and delivery: $350
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
