Let's build a community garden together in Bandung
A community-led a community garden at Acacia Park that will serve 106 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 106 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
• Materials: $400
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
