Legal fees for Anderson's residency renewal in Olinda
Help Anderson cover the fees of a residency renewal so He can stay with his family.
🇧🇷 Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil2,470 views
I'm facing a residency renewal. My hearing is scheduled for November, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $1,300. I have been told by three legal-aid offices that their waiting list is longer than my deadline.
I have all of my paperwork ready, and my caseworker at Olinda Welcome Centre has confirmed that my case is valid.
If I miss the deadline I could lose my right to stay with my family and my job. My children were born here and this is the only home they know.
I'll share any non-sensitive updates as the case moves along.
Funds cover only the filing fees, translations and attorney retainer.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Attorney retainer: $980
• Filing and biometrics fees: $220
• Certified translations and document copies: $70
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $30
Thank you for reading my story.

hope things get better soon, Anderson. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
stay strong, Anderson. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
Thanks for sharing this, Anderson. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Chiang Mai
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Austin.
hope it all works out. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Olinda.
