Lavanya's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund

Lavanya was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at Mumbai University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Lavanya is 24, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mumbai University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
