Kunle's final semester of a law degree in Enugu
A first-generation student, Kunle needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a law degree.
🇳🇬 Nigeria1,236 views
Kunle is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Enugu State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550.
The registrar has said Kunle can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kunle has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kunle would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Kunle isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $250
• Final term tuition: $200
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $85
Thank you so much.
