Ketki needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Pune
Without my taxi Ketki cannot work; a $250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 5 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $130
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $20
• Towing and inspection: $45
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Shared this with my family. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Pune.
