Keep the water on at Sophia's home in Southampton
Help Sophia cover an overdue water bill so the household stays safe this summer.

The water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $850. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $55 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through summer without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $850 goes:
• Gas arrears: $570
• Reconnection and late fees: $95
• Down payment on a payment plan: $185
With deep gratitude,
Sophia
