Keep the water on at Mehmet's home in Rotterdam
Mehmet is behind on water bills after losing my job in July and needs $500 to avoid a shut-off.

The water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $500. I have never been late before losing my job in July.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $85 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
