Keep the water on at Manoj's home in Mumbai
A disconnection notice for water arrived and Manoj needs $100 before March.

The water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless I pay $100. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Water arrears: $40
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40
Glad we found this place.

The support I received was beyond what I expected. Not only did they help with the immediate need, but they also provided guidance for long-term solutions. I'm forever grateful.
