Keep the water on at Grace's home in Nashville
Help Grace cover an overdue water bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.
🇺🇸 United States734 views
The water account is 3 months behind. Grace received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on February unless $800 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in October.
Grace called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Grace is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Grace's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $800 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $520
• Reconnection and late fees: $130
• Down payment on a payment plan: $150
