Keep the gas on at Terry's home in Oakland
Terry is behind on gas bills after January's medical emergency and needs $900 to avoid a shut-off.

The gas account is 3 months behind. Terry received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless $900 is paid. He had never been late before January's medical emergency.
Terry called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $65 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Terry is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
