Keep the gas on at Pilar's home in Los Angeles
Help Pilar cover an overdue gas bill so the household stays safe this winter.

The gas account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $750. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $160 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $750 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $470
• Reconnection and late fees: $170
• Down payment on a payment plan: $110
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Birmingham.
Sending love, Pilar. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
