Keep the gas on at Lawrence's home in Santa Fe
A disconnection notice for gas arrived and Lawrence needs $900 before November.

The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $900. I have never been late before losing my job in July.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $190 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $900 goes:
• Heating arrears: $510
• Reconnection and late fees: $140
• Down payment on a payment plan: $250
