Keep the gas on at Despina's home in Thessaloniki
Despina is behind on gas bills after losing my job in November and needs $500 to avoid a shut-off.

The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on February unless I pay $500. I have never been late before losing my job in November.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $40 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
