Keep the electricity on at Ricardo's home in Medellín
Ricardo is behind on electricity bills after a reduction in hours and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless I pay $150. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
