Keep the electricity on at Balaji's home in Rajkot
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Balaji needs $100 before October.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $100. I have never been late before August's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Gas arrears: $55
• Reconnection and late fees: $25
• Down payment on a payment plan: $20
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
