Keep the electricity and water on at Rahel's home in Addis Ababa
Help Rahel cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this summer.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $100. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Reconnection and late fees: $10
• Down payment on a payment plan: $25
