Keep the electricity and water on at Melanie's home in Cologne
A disconnection notice for electricity and water arrived and Melanie needs $600 before November.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Melanie received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $600 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Melanie called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $120 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Melanie is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
