Keep a roof over Pedro's head in St. Petersburg
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Pedro needs $3,750 to clear the arrears and stay housed in St. Petersburg.

When the hotel closed in May, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,750.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, we must leave.
I've 3 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $310
• First month of rent as a buffer: $670
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,770

Praying for you, Pedro. This could happen to any of us. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
